In the summer of 2023, I took the opportunity to move even closer to home and agreed to teach 2^nd grade at Lenwil Elementary. I will teach all subjects. I am excited to learn about 2^nd grade.

My first five years of teaching were at Union Parish Elementary School. I taught first grade.  In 2021, I decided to seek employment closer to home. Ouachita Parish School Board hired me as a Kindergarten teacher for Swayze Elementary.

I married my high school sweetheart. We have been married for 25 years. We have two daughters and a son. My eldest daughter is a 2021 graduate of West Monroe High School. My middle child is a junior. My youngest attends Claiborne Elementary. 

My family loves cats and we have too many. 

I claim Sherman and TInkins. They are fancy, long haired cats that think we work for them. 

I love to travel, draw, play with my cats, and make things with my Cricut.
